Seven principles of Al Walaa’ wal Baraa’ the Takfiri’s will never tell you about (3)

These Qawaid (principles) were taken from a book entitled Haqeeqatu Walaa wal Baraa fe Kitaab wa Sunnah Bayna Tareef Ghaleen wa Taweel Al Jaheleen: The Reality of Allegiance and Disavowalment (disassocoiation)in the Book and the Sunnah between the distortion of those who go to extremes and the false interpretation of the ignorant. (Pg  109).The book was written by Dr Isaam bin Abdullah Asinanee and has been read and introduced by Sheikh Saalih Fawan al Fawzaan

Principle three:

Indeed Islam came with baraa from the kuffaar and it (Islam) made it obligatory for Muslims to support, and help one another but it also prohibited supporting  muslims against kuffar if there is an existing peace treaty with those kuffar, or if the Muslims are unable to support their (Muslim) brothers and this (principle) does not cause the belief of al Walaa wal Baraa to be diminished.

Allah (subhana wa ta ‘ala said); “And those who have believed but did not emigrate you owe no duty of protection to them until they emigrate, but if they seek your help in religion it is your duty to help them except against a people with whom you have a mutual alliance; and Allah is all-seer of what you do. (Surah Anfaal Ayah72)

The Mufasireen (people of tafseer) related  from Ibn Abbaas (radi allaahu anhu) that he said“Oh you Arab Muslims from the Muhajiroon and Ansar if they (the Muslims) seek your help against their enemies it is obligatory for you to help them except against a people with whom you have a peace treaty”

Sheikh Fawzan was asked (Sharh Nawaqidul Islam pg 167) about kuffar who have a peace treaty with the Muslims so these Kuffar started to wage war on other Muslims is it permissible for the Muslims with whom the Kuffar have a peace treaty or agreement to help those Muslims who have been transgressed upon whether they  have been asked for help or not?

So he responded’ “It is not permissible to nullify the peace treaty or agreement unless there is a condition in it that states; “If you fight muslims the agreement between us and you will be cancelled”; “But if they seek your help in religion it is your duty to help them except against a people with whom you have a mutual alliance; and Allah is all-seer of what you do.(Surah Anfaal Ayah72). And the Most High said; “So long as they are true to you stand true to them”. (Surah Tauba Ayah7). (End of quote)
