Seven principles the Takfiri’s will never tell you about the issue of Al Walaa’ wal Baraa’ (2)

These Qawaid (principles) were taken from a book entitled Haqeeqatu Walaa wal Baraa fe Kitaab wa Sunnah Bayna Tareef Ghaleen wa Taweel Al Jaheleen: The Reality of Allegiance and Disavowalment (disassocoiation) in the Book and the Sunnah between the distortion of those who go to extremes and the false interpretation of the ignorant (pg 100).The book was written by Dr Isaam bin Abdullah Asinanee and has been read and introduced by Sheikh Saalih Fawan al Fawzaan.

Principle two: Islam allows contracts and agreements with the Kuffar although it may be with conditions that may cause  pressure  difficulty and oppression  for the Muslims if that has got a greater benefit for the Muslims like repelling a harm from them especially when they (the Muslims) are weak and incapable and it it is compulsory to stick to the agreements that are between us and them if they keep their part of the agreement and their promises.

Allah said; “Except those of the Musrikeen with whom you have a treaty and who have not subsequently failed you in aught nor have supported any one against you. So fulfil their treaty to them for the end of the term. Surely Allah loves the Muttaqun (pious)”. (Surah Tauba Ayah 4)

Ibn Qudamah said in Mugnee Volume 13 pg 154; “The meaning of  truce is to make a agreement between people you are at war with an agreement to stop fighting for a specific time that can be re-negotiated or non negotiable and this is called a truce or peace treaty or an agreement and this is permisible and the evidence for this is the saying of Allah (Subhana a ta ‘ala; ” Freedom from all obligations  (is declared) from Allah and His Messenger to those of the Musrikeen with whom you had a treaty”. (Surah Taubah Ayah 1). And He (Subhanah wa ta ‘ala) said; “But if they incline to peace you also incline to it”. (Surah Anfaal Ayah 61) . It was also narrated by Murwan and Mursoor bin Makrama that the Prophet (salalla alahi waslam)  made a peace treaty with Amr bin Suhail at Hudubayah to cease fighting for ten years. (Abu Dawud, Kitabul Jihad Vol 3 no 86 and 2766)

And this could be because the Muslims are weak so they make peace treaty until they become strong and this is not permissible except by looking deeply into the state of the Muslims. It is either they are to weak to fight or they (the Muslims) hope for the Kuffar to enter Islam or for them to implement rulings of the Shariah or other than that from those things that bring benefit.
